Since the Child Watch CAC’s inception, over 15 awards of recognition for outstanding advocacy services for child abuse victims have been presented to the Child Watch CAC, such as: The President’s Child Safety Partnership Award; The First “Kentucky Champions for Children” Award; Governor’s Volunteer Activist Award; The Commonwealth of Kentucky Senate Salute; Attorney General’s Certificate of Merit Award; the J.C. Penney’s Golden Rule Organizational Award for two years; and the J.C. Penney’s Golden Rule Volunteer Award for three years; etc.
The Child Watch CAC has also accumulated several hundred support letters from judges, prosecutors, social workers, law enforcement officers, parents, foster parents, community partners, etc., over the years for the valuable work that has been done with children and families.
